How to Download Digital Files on Etsy

I get this question all of the time: “I paid for digital files, now how do I get them?”  There isn’t an option on the mobile app to download digital files, so it often confuses and frustrates buyers.  I’m here to lay out some very simple instructions to ease some of that annoyance and frustration. First, I’ll share screen shots from my iPhone to guide you, then I’ll share screen shots from my PC. Hopefully, this will clear things up.

Part 1: Mobile Device- cell phone, tablet, etc.

  1. open your internet browser and type http://www.etsy.com into the address bar.
  2. If you aren’t logged in, now is the time to enter your info. After you’re logged in, locate the avatar button in the top right corner of your screen. Click it.
  3. Click “purchases”.
  4. If your purchase isn’t under “recent purchases,” click “view all orders”.
  5. Click the purchase that you wish to download.
  6. Once that purchase opens, scroll down to “Download Files”.
  7. Enjoy!

Part 2: Computer- laptop, desktop, etc.

  1. open your internet browser and type http://www.etsy.com into the address bar.
  7. Enjoy!

Who We Are

My name is Chelsea and I am the owner of InspbyJames on Etsy. I originally sold handmade sewn goods, but slowly became passionate about cricut and sublimation as well. After buying SVGs and PNGs from many wonderful sellers on Etsy, I decided to open my own shop. What I didn’t expect was to hit 1000 sales in my first 90 days and become a Star Seller. So, now I am here to teach you what I know about selling, as well as to encourage you. This life can be hard, but I find being creative shines some lights into those dark places. Enjoy!
